dsnyde2
I tried the TWIN2X2048-6400C5DHX as you have suggested to several other users with a DP35DP system board. However, I can't seem to find any compatible memory for this motherboard. I have also tried a set of VS2GBKIT667D2 as well, same 3 beeps and nothing. Is there any memory that works with this board? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 12, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 12, 2008 Those modules should run great in that MB, are you sure there is not some other problem with the MB or CPU?
dsnyde2
This is a new system build and I have strongly considered there is some other problem besides the memory compatability. I'm somewhat of a novice when it comes to building systems so I'm not sure how to check the other components. I don't have another system to swap them into. I purchased the motherboard a few months ago from CompUSA, which no longer has a retail store nearby. I just recently decided to build a new system and purchased the other components (case, PS, CPU, memory, video and disk) from Tiger. I have tried disconnecting everything but the CPU and PS when attempting to boot with the various memory. As soon as I press the pwr switch...beep, beep, beep and then the only thing running is the CPU fan. Any suggestions as to how to determine if I have a defective mb or CPU. Thanks, Dave
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 14, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 14, 2008 I would check with Intel and see if the Bios version that came with the MB will support that CPU, but if it will not post with any memory one module at a time I would suspect the MB.
