Nerius
Hello, Just made a new puter of these ram modules of TWIN3X4096-1600C7DHXIN G (2x2 GB) with XFX 790i Ultra SLI board. I would really need to know how to enter the right settings in bios for these modules. They are rated at 7-7-7-20 at 1600mhz. Board, jedec picks them up at 9-9-9-24 1333 mhz. My questions is which of the numbers is which? Like which is TRAS? which is TRP and so on? Also set in auto detection i get very low bandwidht. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 12, 2008 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 12, 2008 The tested settings will need to be manually set and you can get them from the link in my signature and make sure that you have the latest BIOS for your MB to get the best performance. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 12, 2008 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 12, 2008 I would suggest asking the MB maker to explain that setting and what it does or searcing for it with http://www.google.com or look on Techarp and get a better explanation. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 16, 2008 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 16, 2008 If you want to run 8 Gig I would plan on running them at DDR1066 or DDR1333 but they should run great in that MB.
