dinopoke
Hi all! I've been having this problem with my computer which I have recently built. When I turn on computer and Windows XP loads I recieve a error message saying: "Problem report: The Nvidia system sentinel is reporting that Nvidia-powered graphics card is not receiving sufficient power. To protect hardware from potential damage or causing a potential system lockup, the graphics processor has lowered its performance to a level that allows continued safe operations." I have updated to the newest Nvidia drivers but still recieve the same problem I have used the PCIe 6Pin Cable that comes with the Corsair HX-620 PSU as well as the 6Pin Y-cable that comes with the video card with the two of its 4Pin molex connectors connected to two seperate peripheral cables, that came from the HX-620, straight into two different rails on the PSU. They have made no difference. My system specifications are: Intel Q6600 G0 Stepping Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R 2GB Kingston 800Mhz RAM Inno3D 8800GTS 512 Factory Overclocked to 700mhz Corsair HX-620 Antec Sonata III Can anyone please help me out? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 16, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 16, 2008 If you have tried multiple ports on the PSU and multiple cables, and you are getting the same results, then I would recommend contacting the card manufacturer to see if you should have the card replaced.
