jwitter
I am getting ready to upgrade the memory in my pc but after reading several threads I would like some verification on issues. This pc is used for photoshop & adobe lightroom. Is it best to stay at 2gb ram (2x1gb) vs trying to push this mb and xp pro sp2 to handle 3 or 4 and be stable? I would love to have 3-4 gb but can't afford to spend hours resolving issues. Is it better/faster to run 2gb @ddr400 vs 3-4 @DDR333? Looking at buying TWINX2048-3200C2PT so is the actual timing for this set 2-3-3-6 2T? Thanks in advance.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted January 16, 2008 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 16, 2008 With any 32 Bit O.S. Two one Gig modules would give the best performance hands down. So Twinx2048-3200C2 would be the best choice with one set.
