pshelc Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 I have an EVGA nforce 680 i SLI mainboard with 2 memory sticks of CM2X1024-6400C4D dominator memory. I also have 2 sticks of CM2X1024-6400C4DHX that are not Dominator. Can I add the latter 2 to my main board and will they be compatable? The timings on both types are 4-4-4-12. Should I have any issues by using both types? I'm using a dual boot with Windows XP Pro and Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bit. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted January 9, 2008 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 9, 2008 I think what he is trying to say is that when you have 4 modules you will have to relax the memory settings and or frequency and that is normal, but some have had 4 modules running at at DDR800, you would just have to try it.
