bigThinker
Hey Ram Guy. First I want to thank you for helping me out with an issue I had a while ago, where I couldn't get all 4 1g sticks to work at the same time. Unfortunately one of my sticks has entirely died now. I can use any 2 of my 3 good sticks and it will boot fine, but if I use this one stick in particular it won't even entirely POST and I get a C1 "Memory Presence" error, description "Base memory detect." This didn't come out of the blue. For the past few weeks my applications kept crashing and I'd gotten several BSODs talking about memory errors. I've been sure to keep my voltage at 2.2, frequency at DDR800 and tCPC at 2t as you suggested in your last post to me. It's gotten progressively worse and now I think it's totally dead. What can be done? Can I return this one stick?
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted December 8, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 8, 2007 If you purchased a TWIN pack then I would recommend sending back the matched pair for replacement, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them.
