Geertruida
Hi there! About 2 months ago i bought a pair of TWINX1024-3200LL modules, lot 0350102, with a sticker on them saying 2-3-3-6. Question: at what timings should i run them? Thanks, Steven
CMC_SAVAGE
That's strange, because the LL's should rated at a 2-3-2-6 SPD. Probably a misprint. You should be able to run 2-3-2-6 @ 400MHz, depending on your setup.
Geertruida
Yes, from what i've read from Ramguy, and other sources, one would think they should work at 2-3-2-6. I'm having a hard time getting them to run stable at any setting though. So i figured it might help to know what timings my modules are supposed to work at... gr, Steven
Geertruida
Still find it hard to imaging a C2 sticker was put on my LL's... What do you guys figure?
CMC_SAVAGE
You can install Aida32 . This will tell you what the modules SPD is. Nice program, shows all kinds of info on your PC. Did they say 3200LL anywhere else on the module or packaging?
Geertruida
Adia says it's TWINX1024-3200LL, and @ 200mhz the spd gives me 2-3-2-6. I'll test and see if it's stable at these timings. If not i'll report back, and have another shot at unraveling the 2-3-3-6 sticker mystery... Thanks! gr, Steven
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 1, 2004 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 1, 2004 I would have to speculate it is just a miss-print on the label. I am sorry but it does happen from time to time, if the operators do not watch it in final production. However, we do test them on a MB at the rated speed so it should not be a problem.
