rwconner
I just bought a 1 GB Flash Voyager and found that it is about 1/3 the speed of my old Lexar 256 MB Sport. I'm using a MacBook with USB 2 port. Does this indicate a defective product, or is this what the RAM Guy means by the shift to the slower, cheaper operating system? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 13, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 13, 2007 The performance will vary with density, and for best performance you should be using our Flash Voyager GT.
rwconner
My son solved the problem. The beast is preformatted for DOS (for heaven's sake). When I erased and re-formatted with MAC OS Extended system, it ran as blazingly fast as it should.
