Hre11
I get a package with 2X1024 from Corsair this Monday. But when I try to load bios, one of the two part doesn't work. If I use the other part, it work, but I can't you the both in same time. Something is wrong. I have also test memtest and I get a couples of errors. Should I send this as RMA?Should I send this as RMA?

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted January 26, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 26, 2007 Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted January 26, 2007 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 26, 2007 Please make sure that you have the latest bios and then load setup defaults and set the Dim Voltage to 2.1 volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with this MB you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test.
