d.chatten
I have got two sets of Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X1024A-5400UL 675MHz and the recomended timings @ 675MHz on one set are 3-2-2-8 and on the other set the timings are 3-3-2-8, i have been running both sets at 3-3-2-8 @ 667MHz 2.10v without any problem at all. The question i want to ask is, can and will both sets run at 3-2-2-8 @ 533MHz 1.80v, if they will, would that make the system run slower or faster with my Core 2 Duo E6600 with a 266/1066 FSB as the memory would be running at a ratio of 1:1 with the CPU FSB. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 22, 2006 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 22, 2006 I doubt it, in fact I am surprized you have two sets running at the tested settings.
d.chatten
I doubt it, in fact I am surprized you have two sets running at the tested settings.Well at the moment i'm running both sets in my Asus P5W DH Deluxe with timings of 3-2-2-8 @ 533MHz 1.80v at a 1:1 ratio, so my question now is will my system be faster at this speed with these timings, or will it be faster at 3-3-2-8 @ 667MHz 2.10v. I have been running all four sticks at 3-3-2-8 @ 667MHz 2.10v on my previous mobo (Asus P5WD2 Premium) for aprox 6-8 months, rock solid stable. Thanks!
