Thomas Stone
I have recently built a new PC. My Problem is that both the BIOS and Windows XP Pro dont see my RAM correctly. I bough 2GByte TinX Mached Memory Pair. Each stick is 1GB each. Instead of having 2GB or even 1.5GB (PCIE Vid Card address takes some of this from what I have read) I only have 1GB. Instead of each stick of Ram displaying 1024 (in the BIOS) they both display 512. I have switched them around, tried different banks, and get the same thing. I must be doing something wrong. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? is there a jumper or BIOS setting that needs to be changed so that this memory can report correctly? Thomas Stone
No one has any thoughts as to why my memory sticks are showing up at half of their size? Even a point in the right direction would be greatly appriciated.
