DavidLothrop
I am running a dual channel pair of CM2X512-4300C3PRO. Can I add a second dual channel pair of CM2X512A-4300C3PRO?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 5, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 5, 2006 It will really depend on the MB you have if you can use 4 modules or not. But we did test in our lab mixing these modules and had no problem with the MB's we tested at that time. You might have to relax the timings and I would set the voltage to 2.1 Volts as well. DavidLothrop
Thanks for the info. My motherboard is the Asus P5ND2-SLI Deluxe. David
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 5, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 5, 2006 That was one of the MB's we used to test with so you should be O.K. However, officially we only support one set of Twinx in any system.
DavidLothrop
The two new 512mb modules I purchased are not booting. My motherboard has the first bios which is around a year old. Maybe a bios update is necessary? I tried your advice from previous posts. Corsair phone support thinks the modules are dead. David
