acsplanet
I have a stick of 512 DDR that when in a machine, the machine would not boot to windows. I put the memory in another machine and ran memtest on it and it failed. Any ideas, or do I just need to RMA.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 4, 2006 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 4, 2006 Can you tell me our modules part# (How To Read the Memory Label) and the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?
acsplanet
The number is VS512MB400C3 Well, the rest isn't that important. We ordered 30+ sticks of the same memory for some machines we were building for a customer. This one didn't work, but we replaced it with another stick of the same size and it worked fine.
