sashvh
I bought 2 ram sticks in November 2005 for my laptop and yesterday the computer errored with a memory dump and said it needed to reboot. The error in the MS knowledge base stated to run a ram check. So I did. With both sticks in the check started and failed on the first test and continued to fail. So I pulled out 1 stick and attempted to reboot - the machine didnt operate. I put the other stick back in and it booted normally. I ran the ram check on that stick and all passed without issue. So the other stick is no longer working properly. My sister has the same laptop and I tried it in her computer and it would not boot with it either. All was working well until yesterday. I have not noticed any issues and no other errors occured.
