scottdawg Posted February 5, 2006 Share Posted February 5, 2006 I have bad memory sticks- used memtest+ looks like failure -not sure which module, i have 4 all together , twinx512-3200llpt (265x2) , two sets. bad memory adress is same on one test , but diffrent result on the other tests. I would like to do an RMA request. The only thing is i dont have original packages, and the memory was purchased in june 2004- am i still covered, and because i dont have the packages, i cant find the serial numbers. do i still qualify for an RMA ? these chips have been great wouldnt go anywhere else. pls help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted February 6, 2006 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 6, 2006 These modules would not be suggested for any MB that you cannot set the voltage to at least 2.75 Volts. Can you test the modules in another system that you can set the memory voltage at 2.75 Volts and I would set the timings to the tested settings one module at a time at Cas 2-3-2-6 with the Ras to Cas set to "3" and test them one at a time with http://www.memtest.org.
