jones
I've got a Dell Dimension 4550 at home and my CMFUSBSF2.0-128 flash drive is not recognized on Window XP Home SP2. However, the drive is recognized on my office computer and works fine there (I'm not sure what the specs are there). I've read in other forums to a) use the Corsair EZ Recovery, which does not work, or b) try and get the module replaced. However, the module does seem to to work and I'm reluctant to exchange the drive, expecting to encounter the same issue. I have attempted to update my device drivers, etc., in the device manager and this has not worked as well. It claims to have the most recent driver. Any ideas? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted February 4, 2006 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 4, 2006 Thank might suggest some problem with the USB ports in your Dell system. The fact the drive works in another system would suggest its not the drive. I would maybe try and contact Dell and see what they have to say. And maybe check http://www.usbman.com for some tips as well.
