mkozlows
I have a computer with a Gigabyte K8N motherboard. When I bought the motherboard, I bought a VS1GBKIT400 set of two memory modules. They have worked fine and consistently for months now. A few weeks ago, I purchased a second VS1GBKIT400 pair of modules. I installed them in the remaining slots on the motherboard, and the computer became increasingly unstable, finally refusing to boot into Windows. I removed the new memory, leaving the old VS1GBKIT400 memory in place. The system booted, and operates, fine. I then removed the old memory, putting the new VS1GBKIT400 memory in its place. The system would not boot at all, despite what should be a totally identical configuration. I'm sort of inclined to believe that I have bad memory, and would like an RMA#.
