RexTorres Posted February 1, 2006 Share Posted February 1, 2006 I have dual opteron. TWINX2048RE-3200. The system was reporting both sticks of memory. One Stick for each bank of four. NOW: Bios only reports one of the sticks of memory. In windows Sandra show only the stick for CPU2 and not CPU1. When I swapped the memory from one bank to the other to see if it was the MOBO. Sandra then showed only the stick for CPU1 and not CPU2. It seems like something is wrong with one of the sticks of memory. Any thoughts? Otherwise I need an RMA. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted February 1, 2006 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 1, 2006 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
