YBDLTD Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 Hello the "Ram Guy" I have a bad luck with the product above which worked for about 6 months and suddenly stoped working and producing BSOD's all the time. My rig is AMD Opteron 146 2.2 GHZ S939 DFI LP NF4 Ultra-D Corasir XMS 4400 2X512 thermal take 430 24PIN PSU 6800GS By leadtek I tried to isolate the problem by checking each one in the board alone. and found that one stick is good while the other one wont pass memtest or Prime 95 or Super PI by no means!!! testing settings : DDR400: 2.5-3-3-8 on 2.8V DDR500: 2.5-4-4-8 on 2.8V all fails memtest !!! I want to remark that both of them worked before as a pair , and stopped working with no reason or anything that I might have done to it. I tried the memory on the latest official Bios BY "DFI" or the beta one by "Oskar Wo" none of them will make the faulty one work I suppose there is nothing else left to do.
