chris53825
My ram worked fine for some time, however up until recently my computer would not boot whenever it powered up. The bios would not "catch"... i.e the fans would turn but nothing would boot. I contacted my laptop manufacturer (Gateway) and even had them come install a new motherboard (assuming this was the problem). The new installation made no difference, it was only until i removed the memory stick did the computer boot up fine. I even tried switching the stick into a different slot and still no difference. I do not overclock either, i never knew ram could just "die"?

In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?
