Akentut
I was running an ASUS A8N-SLI with 4 CMX512 3200C2PT modules, two with version 5.1 and 2 with v2.2 & 4.2. The two latter versions were giving me some failures on this board, and the system would run faster once the two latter modules were removed. I have now replaced the MB with an ASUS A8N32-SLI:D: , using the same modules from above, the system fails:mad: to boot. But after removing the v2.2 and v4.2 modules it boots fine:biggrin: . I put just the latter two modules in and still it will not boot, so I tried just one module according to there manual and the proper slots to use. And the board still fails to boot. Is this a memory card failure:confused: and would these be covered under warrantee? Thanks for your help.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 23, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 23, 2006 All of the modules would need to be the same part# and revision. But we can try replacing the older two modules if you like. Please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
