Muboger
When running Norton Utilities 2000 to troubleshoot a modem problem it yielded an error upon testing the memory. This is "new" system assembly, being a hand-me-down motherboard, CPU & case. I'm using my year old hard drive with a fresh install of Win98SE. I have also been experiencing lock-ups which may be related. Do you think the Norton Utilities report is valid? Thanks!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 9, 2006 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 9, 2006 No please use http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Over Voltage control to +.2 Volts and set the memory requency ration to 1-1 or 100% as well.
