Jeff323 Posted December 28, 2005 Share Posted December 28, 2005 I recently purchased 1 CMSS256MB-100SOD for use in my Compaq Armada E500 PIII 800 Mhz laptop. No mattered what config I tried (with other mem, alone) the system would not boot. I suspected bad memory, and RMA'ed it for replacement. Today, the replacement arrived and still the same symptoms exist. The system will not boot with this memory installed. Is this memory compatible with the armada, or am I just missing something?
