ultimater3
I purchased 2 sticks of Corsair XMS CMX1024-3200C2 1GB DDR memory modules a little over two months ago. Zipzoomfly, the online vendor will only accept returns before 30 days, leaving me with dealing directly with Corsair now. The memory worked fine for 60 days, then bluescreened the entire computer. As I tried to reboot the machine, it would continue to bluescreen repeatedly on bootup. I removed all the necessary hardware to diagnose the issue (hard drive, CPU, atx power supply, video card, even taking out all the extras like sound card and nic card. Finally, I realized it rested with the memory. As soon as I replaced the memory, the computer returned to normal and booted perfectly. Nothing else had to be replaced. I need an RMA for these 2 sticks of ram. Thank you. Computer are specs are as follows: Memory: 2 sticks of Corsair XMS CMX1024-3200C2 1GB DDR Motherboard: ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe CPU: AMD 3200 64bit Video card: 2 PCI Express XFX GeForce 7800T 256meg cards ATX Power Supply: True Power 2.0 500watt Hard Drive: WD Raptor 10,000 rpm SATA drive Please let me know if I need to provide any more info. Thank you.
