Flynraider
I just assembled my new PC. I have a Gigabyte GA-8I945P-PRO mobo and P4-660 processor. Using my TWIN2X1024-5400CPRO RAM, the system won't post. I swapped the RAM for some other brand(I forget which) of DDR2-533 and it worked great. I suppose this means that my RAM is bad? The only other thing I could think of was that the board is rated to DDR2-667 and the RAM is actually DDR2-675. Would this cause the machine to not function? The ram is listed as compatible with my MoBo on Corsair's website. Any Suggestions?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 9, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 9, 2005 Please use the other memory and then set the memory voltage to +.2 Volts and see if it will post with our modules.

Flynraider
I was able to get an RMA from my retailer and my new RAM isin't working either, despite being listed as compatible on both your website as well as my Mobo manufacturer's. PC4300 still works great everytime, and I am beginning to think that this might be a RAM speed problem. Would it be possible to RMA my TWIN2X1024-5400C4PRO for a set of TWIN2X1024A-4300C3PR ? I would gladly pay any difference....
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 27, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 27, 2005 I doubt this MB will run with those modules if it will not run with our Pro modules.
Flynraider
Well what would cause this problem only with the "pro" modules? The LED's? If that were the case, wouldn't turning up the RAM voltage solve the problem?
