ezklipze Posted November 29, 2005 Share Posted November 29, 2005 I bought this a new VS 512mb RAM and installed it into my laptop along with the factory ram from dell. Everything seemed to work for about a few days. All of a sudden, my computer crashed and I believe it's my RAM. I tried to boot windows with just the Value Select RAM but it won't even stay on for 5 mins. It recognizes that I the memory amount has changed to 512 but it crashes before entering Windows. However, when I tried running memtest with it, it would run the test but would suddenly crash in the middle. I think there I may have a defective RAM. What do you guys think?
