Memory not detected

ive ordered

Corsair VS512MBKIT400 512MB Kit DDR400 PC3200 Corsair VS1GB400C3 1GB DDR400 PC3200 CAS3

and install them in my motherboard but it seems that only 512 shows upwhen its in the 2nd slot. and if i try to swap the memory from slot 1 (1GB) to the 2nd slot and move the 512 down to the first 1st.. it then detects 1gb. this is the bios and windows. i called tech support prior to this and they said it was because i had different brand name memory cards so then i got the two Corsair memory and its still acting up. i already cleared the cmos along with loading optimized defaults in the bios. i cant think of anything else going wrong.

 

but when i use EVEREST HOME EDITION and look up the memory SPD, it clearly shows both ram sticks..

I am sorry but with AMD 64 CPU's you cannot mix memory. Please just the 512 Meg module or the 1.0 Gig module but not at the same time.
