jlar310
I've got two sticks of VS512MB333. Lately XP has been crashing and rebooting randomly (when logged in, but idle). Memtest has shown some errors when testing both sticks simultaneously, but it can take anywhere from 20 to 50 passes before it errors. Memtest did not get any errors when testing each stick individually, so I have been unable to isolate the problem. Motherboard is MSI 645 Ultra (SIS 645 chipset). What should I do? Thanks, Jeff

jlar310
When running at 200MHz, there were no memtest errors over the long holiday weekend. The MB is not capable of tuning all the timing parameters however. I can set CAS latency to 2.5 or 2. Nothing else is tunable. Now what?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 29, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 29, 2005 Try setting it at 2.5CAS. Do you have a voltage control as well or is that not available either?
