jrscott1993
PC Specs: MSI B650 motherboard, Ryzen 7 7700X, Corsair H100i elite capellix xt. I updated to ICUE v5 and upon startup my cpu usage stayed pegged between 10-12% at idle with ICUE using 7-9%. This makes my CPU idle at around 55 degrees. I uninstalled and reinstalled v5 and got the same results. Before I updated ICUE my cpu usage at idle stayed between 1-4% and around 45 degrees. Seeing as the v4 install is still available on the download page I decided to uninstall v5 and reinstall v4. My CPU usage returned to between 1-4% and idles at around 45 degrees. Am I doing something wrong or is the new update supposed to use that much more of the CPU, and make my system idle 10 degrees hotter?
Mortac
I have the same issue on an Intel i7 7700k with a Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon running Windows 10. iCUE will consistently lag my system by utilizing 12-18% of CPU power, and the only way to get rid of it is to close the process down. This happens at random when I haven't even touched the iCUE software.
N0m0r3
Malware normally use CPU resources to Cryptojacking (mining). Even then use less resources than ICUE...
