mwk0x1 Posted March 24 Share Posted March 24 I recently bought a used PC which came with one 16 GB module of a 32 GB kit (CMK32GX4M2E3200C16) on an MSI X570-A Pro mainboard. I then purchased a CMK16GX4M1E3200C16 module and installed it. This configuration has worked without any issues, but are the two modules running in dual-channel mode or not? muvo Posted March 24 Share Posted March 24 Dual Channel is automatically activated as soon as you use 2 modules. To do this, the memories should be plugged into A1, B1 or A2, B2. To avoid problems with memory, Corsair always recommends purchasing a complete kit. Because then the two memories are coordinated with one another.
