CMX512-2700C2 & Moving to 1G w/ keeping aggressive timings?

Hello all, ASUS A7V8X WinXP Pro AMD 2600+ CMX512-2700C2 I want to keep my timings at 2-2-2-6 while adding a second module of CMX512-xxxxXX. What part number would be my best chance for success? My system is rock solid stable with the single CMX512-2700C2 running 2-2-2-6 at 333MHz and default voltage. For Christmas, I can get another module of 512 for my rig but I want to keep the aggressive timings I have. I seems that I have two choices after reading these boards and spec sheets. Either: CMX512-2700LL (2-2-2-5) or CMX512-3200C2 (2-3-3-6) or CMX512-3200LL (2-3-2-6) The price goes up but the specs vary. It gets more confusing for me because of this FAQ statement: Q: Will standard XMS modules (i.e., CMX512-2700C2) meet the Low Latency (i.e., CMX512-2700LL) specifications? A: Not necessarily. The XMS2700 low latency modules (CMX256A-2700LL and CMX512-2700LL) are built using the same RAMs as the standard XMS3200C2 family (CMX256A-3200C2 and CMX512-3200C2), for example. The XMS2700LL is roughly the performance equivalent of the XMS3200C2; the XMS3200LL is roughly the performance equivalent of the XMS3500C2. But the low latency modules are tested at fast latency and slower bus speed, rather than fast bus speed and slower latency. So does this mean a different manufacture process that may cause me problems? Or should I just try another module of CMX512-2700C2 with the same revision number and pray for the best? I will likely move to a Dual Channel mobo eventually so I want to choose carefully. Plus, these specs are only tested using a single module. Thanks to all who offer an opinion . . .

I would try CMX512-2700LL, but with this chipset I would be really surprized if it will run at these setting with 2 modules. But I would stagger the memory, one in slot 1 and one in slot 3 and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and you may find that you have set the Rass to Cass to "3" to make the system stable

I took the advice of RAM GUY and increased the DIMM voltage to 2.75 and placed the modules in slots 1 & 3 and my PC booted without a hitch. I then ran Memtest86 for a total of three full runs without error. I have gamed and benchmarked and stress-tested the system and I truly have joy. Thank you RAM GUY and Corsair for your excellent product and for your assistance when I asked for information. Happy Hollidays to All . . . Shamus
