chad110
Hi. Im running out of troubleshooting steps. Do you think this is a PSU issue? I upgraded to Corsair rm1000x shift and I'm getting this loud pop sound (4 times) on my speaker while booting (Please start at the 0:21 mark of the video). https://drive.google.com/file/d/1g2fwlH7nF5o5Mi6uqMMQuCei5lw0NNv6/view?usp=share_link What fixes the issue are: Different PSU Using optical cable But at the same time, this problem that I'm encountering does not appear on other systems/set up or even my previous 2 PSUs (Seasonic and Cooler Master) Here are the things that I've tried: Different outlet Unplugged all devices and USB Direct-to-wall connection Used UPS Tried spare speaker PSU running outside of the case Reinstall realtek

Quintessence
Same issue here, I sent mine back and am hoping it was just a defective unit. It would pop during any kind of load and on start up. Edited June 17, 2023 by Quintessence

LeDoyen
well, you have a very new PSU that not many have, and not all may experience that problem either. if voltages spike to the point the speakers pick up pops, by all means contact the customer support to get it exchanged. it's a really odd problem. Fair enough... I'm still waiting on my replacement unit.
