Heruhur
The problem still persists. v5.3.102 now and still no solution. Is there an offline installer? I getting the feeling it's a firewall issue. Heruhur
 Update: Got a reply today for a support ticket I made for this a while back: Quote Hi, This is due to a language other than English being detected.  We are currently working on this issue. For now, you will have to completely install and run it as a natively US-English language machine. We apologize for the inconvernience. Sr. Technical Support Specialist Fer http://www.corsair.com https://www.facebook.com/Corsair https://twitter.com/Corsair
dutchy12345
this has been going on for months now. I am in Belgium but I have my Windows 11 regional settings set to English(USA). So everything is in English on my machine. So the regional format is English (USA) but the Country or Region I chose Belgium since that is where I am at. But for months now the same message. I hated the software already. My corsair keyboard I like. The mice were bad. Using Razor mice now. Only have a keyboard and a headphone left. Well actually I have 2 keyboards. That's why I not changed to Razor long time ago because it is a waste. However the software doesn't even allow you to use a combination of keys to define a macro. It is just laughable. They make all this hardware but apparently they forgot to hire a programmer. 2023-07-19_20:37:55 Checking user locale: en-US. 2023-07-19_20:37:55 Setting user preffered language: en-US. 2023-07-19_20:38:09 Failed to read and parse installer embedded payload 2023-07-19_20:38:09 Detected iCUE version=4.33.138 2023-07-19_20:38:31 Failed to get mpid value 2023-07-19_20:38:32 Opening file: C:\ProgramData\Corsair\iCUE5 Initial Installer\manager\cuepkg.zip.sha2 2023-07-19_20:38:32 Opening file: C:\ProgramData\Corsair\iCUE5 Initial Installer\manager\cuepkg.zip 2023-07-19_20:38:32 Using bootstrap package from repo: https://www3.corsair.com/software/CUE_V5/public/modules/windows/installerpackage/cuepkg.zip 2023-07-19_20:39:28 Package manager failed:  "C:\ProgramData\Corsair\iCUE5 Initial Installer\manager\cuepkg.exe" --installdir="C:\ProgramData\Corsair\iCUE5 Initial Installer\packages" install icue-installer --format=json  code: 1  out: {"data":{"comment":"Failed to check working directories restricted status.","severity":"warning"},"method":"comment"}
Administrators Technobeard Posted September 11, 2023 Administrators Share Posted September 11, 2023 @Heruhur @jreenen @dutchy12345 Try the latest iCUE release. Looks like they fixed the language install issues per the release notes:
