Baccil Posted June 22, 2005 Share Posted June 22, 2005 Hello Ram Guy Built current computer about 5 months ago - the system isn't overclocked. I have a matching pair of Value Select vs512mb400's. Recently been noticing an increasing trend to blue screen during boot and in windows. Got to a peak yesturday. So I got hold of memtest86 V3.1a. Tested both, one at a time. One module gave errors right from the start. When it got to 300 errors I gave up. :bigeyes: The other module I tested over night and was still running this morning - no errors. So I imagine it's fine. Anyway, first time I have had a hardware problem - so I guess I need an RMA? Just out of interest does memory degrade?
