wingnut
My system crashes frequently with memory-related errors when gaming, and rarely when preforming simple tasks like web browsing. When I use only 1 stick of ram at once the errors seem to disapear, but when using both in duel channel mode I experiance severe lockups and crashes with messeges such as "The memory could not be read" or Page_Fault_in _nonpaged_Area. Again, the system seems to run fine with only 1 module or using my older TWINX5123200LLPT. I ran memtest86 for an extended time and it reported no errors. My CPU rarely, if ever, goes over 130 F and the system is in a cool, well ventelated area with 4 cooling fans. The system is not overclocked. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 20, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 20, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well. If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules, that would suggest some other problem, and I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure.
