Commander XT not showing up in iCue 4 Intel system

Hey Everyone,

It seems as though there is a lot of chatter about this problem and Corsair is aware of it, but all the posts I read seemed to point to AMD systems, so I thought mine might be an outlier. My fans seem to be at one speed and the RGB only works on 5 out of 6 of them. Commander core XT is installed but not showing up in iCue, so I can't control the fans. However my Corsair H100I Elite AIO is plugged into the Commander core and I see it just fine. BIOS is up to date. ICue is up to date.

I'm Running an Intel 7 12700 and a ROG STRIX Z690A D4 Motherboard. Literally everything else is Corsair. PSU, Fans, Case etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When the CoreXT is connected to a cooler, it shows up in iCUE as the cooler. So when you click on the H100i Elite Capellix in iCUE, you should be able to control the individual fans.

Thanks for the responses guys!

And yes, while I do see the fans listed under the AIO, the RGB is not controllable, and the fans have limited control. And according to this setup video from Corsair the commander XT should show up in iCue allowing for full RGB and fan control, right?

And I guess that's one of my biggest questions, the AIO plugs into the commander core XT and shows up, but the commander core itself doesn't? Unless iCue can see it cause it's plugged into the AIO slot on the MB?

So yeah, still in the same boat, no commander core XT, no control.

Nope! You are 100% correct! I was wrong! Thank you! I found them under the AIO and then ran the setup wizard which then automatically detected my 3 pin fan, which is also the fan that had no RGB. Now all six fans are detected with RGB working properly! Yay!
