zak5001
I'm having the same issue with Virtuoso SE RGB. Getting annoying having to enter settings and change to 2 channels everytime I reboot. Windows 11 22H2 (22621.900) Firmware for headset shows as v5.3.70 Driver in Windows settings shows as 2.3.51.0 iCUE is 4.30.

There are multiple other posts showing you that if we simply uninstall iCUE and let Windows install generic drivers... the issue never happens. This is only when iCUE is running and the Corsair drivers specifically are installed. Don't blame Windows. How on earth has this been happening for years??? Blows my mind you would continue to sell this product without any fix. Do you have any idea how obnoxious it is to leave the sound panel open and constantly switch between 8 channel and 2 channel simply because the headset went to sleep? Or I was charging it? The change in the situation needs to happen with Corsair. And it needs to happen now. Really wish I had seen this issue before purchasing these things.

DarkeTemplar
Any updates Corsair? I know it's only been four years since you released this headset, so I'm sure you need more time to really deliver an update here.

DarkeTemplar
Hey Corsair! Wanna say a big thank you for continuing to ignore this post. It's very classy. I thoroughly enjoy going into control panel and switching these stereo headphones from 8 channel to 2 channel every time I turn them on... walk away from them for too long... use them for too long... you know, common scenarios people might find themselves in when using a wireless headset for a PC. Extra kudos for causing games to crash, microphone going out on Discord despite being "certified", audio going out on Discord despite being certified, and my entire computer locking up from time to time. I'm sure it's tough - you don't make too many headsets... so you're probably struggling to figure this out for the past 4-5 years. But hey - at least you can sync my LEDs!! And you got that mural function in iCUE so I can do custom backgrounds. Some top-notch engineers over there for sure. Next patch notes - "minor fixes and new icon choices for iCUE". Slowly replacing this garbage. Just bought a standalone mic and a new pair of headphones since these can't be trusted to perform even basic functionality. Bit of good news though - removing the microphone extends battery life significantly. So you'll have more opportunities between charges to lose audio or crash your system!!! 🙂
DarkeTemplar
Surely this guy's just ranting to rant. There's no way that happens. 1 hour later... on the entire time. Neither computer nor headset went to sleep.
