mordies Posted February 19, 2022 Share Posted February 19, 2022 I pick up a Commander Core XT - I've seen some reviews that state that SP-120 pros and SP-140 pros will not work with the commander core TX for PWM control - ATM they are being controlled by ASUS AI suite 3 off the x570-E MOBO header. PWM works just fine, can anyone confirm that commander core TX can or cannot control the SP-pros PWM fans? Before I open it and take the time to rewire my system? DevBiker Posted February 19, 2022 Share Posted February 19, 2022 The SP-Pros are not PWM fans; they are 3-pin DC fans. If you have SP fans that are 4-pin PWM, then they are SP-Elite. SP-Pro fans, as 3-pin DC fans, cannot be controlled from the Commander Core XT. SP-Elite fans, as 4-pin PWM fans, can be controlled from the Commander Core XT.
