Hardline Loop Drain question

Recommended Posts

When using the Hydro X series XF Ball valve on 14mm Corsair hardline can someone please explain how to add a drain port out bottom of the XD7 reservoir?

I do not see a way using the Corsair fittings to attach it, needs some kind of fitting or adapter that Corsair does not have maybe?

maybe something like this ?

Rather take the rotary fitting, so that you can rotate the valve and have easy access to the handle.

You can also use an angled fitting depending on where the valve is, what case etc..

Yes that looks like what I would need. You think Corsair would make that right?

Corsair don't make any of their fittings... the OEM for their fittings is Bitspower. That said, you'd think they would carry the fitting Le Doyen linked.

they would need to carry the whole Bitspower catalog, but it's true that selling female to female ball valves without having any male/male adapter is quite the oversight. you could still use a short piece of tubing with two fittings (female) to connect the valve but that's fragile, too long, and way more expensive.
