ASKEklund
I replaced my old ddr4 ram with this and I don't believe I get the correct MHz. I don't know what to do, please help! Thinking of returning it soon if it doesn't work.
LeDoyen
ah if you just installed them they may have defaulted to the base frequency. 3200mhz is obtained by enabling XMP in bios (if you use Intel) or DOCP (AMD). It's basically a memory overclock, so that's why it is never enabled by default when you install new sticks. If you look in your motherboard's manual, it should show where this memory XMP/DOCP option is. It's then just a matter of enabling it, saving and restarting. If you've never done it, don't be surprised. The first time you enable it, the computer may restart once or twice on its own before booting into windows, as it applies the new frequency and tests it to validate it works.
