At startup the PSU checks that the fan is not stuck by spining it briefly, and after that it's only spinning if needed. As long as the PSU doesn't run too hot, it will not spin at all and run semi-passively.. the perks of 80+gold and beyond, they don't heat up much 🙂 enjoy the silence Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
