Rab22
Hello. I purchased CORSAIR 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM System Memory from Newegg.com approximately 6 months ago. I have recently started noticing major issues while using both Windows XP Professional (SP-2) and Ubuntu Linux (mainly system haults/lock ups). Assuming it could be anything I attempted to check the memory. I used the program memTest.exe and it found errors. I then, for a second opinion ;-), burned memtest86 to a bootable CD and ran that. It too found errors with the system (I can post those from memTest.exe if needed). Following the Warranty information (Newegg.com states it is under Manufactor warranty) it stated to post here in concern of the problem. Thank you for your time, -Rick
