Hi all

Has anyone got the latest Dominator Platinum RGB RAM (preferably in white :-)) to work with Ryzen 5900x and ASUS ROG X570-E Gaming?

When I do a search on the Corsair site, and input that mobo, 8 and 16 gb sticks show up, however they are not listed in the ASUS QVL.

The only 32gb kit is the CMT32GX4M4C3000C15 - 3000, and black only, no white SKU.

Keen to hear of your success or otherwise!

Cheers

Hey there! I'm sorry to reply when I have ZERO information for you. I'm just in literally the same boat trying to figure out if my white Dominator Platinum kit is going to work with the build I have planned: Strix X570-E + 5950X + Dominator Platinum RGB 64GB (4 x 16GB) 3600MHz C18. I've searched all over the place with no luck.

This memory kit is not on the X570-E QVL as you know, but I also noticed that it's not on most of the QVL's I checked. Only MSI boards have this memory on their QVL. I don't know if that just means the other companies have not tested this ram yet.

Also I went to Corsair's own website and searched motherboard compatibility at this link: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/memoryfinder?type=motherboard

When I choose the Asus X570-E my ram kit does show up in that list. But I'm not entirely sure what that means. I called Corsair and specifically asked about this issue, all the guy did was pull up the X570-E QVL and say nope it's not on there.

Sorry I don't have any solid info but I wanted to post where I'm at with this quest. If you have discovered any further into can you let me know? Thanks!

This is not unique to Corsair as I have found many others who are slow to post specs etc

AMD is more sensitive to RAM than Intel but with some fiddling almost any RAM can be coaxed into stability with custom settings

If you looked up the product page for your kit of DRAM you would have noticed we already have the technical specifications posted and that kit of memory is not compatible with ANY mainstream AMD based system. It is only compatible with Intel 300/400/500 series chipsets, and AMD's HEDT TRX40 chipset.

You might want to tell this to the Corsair representatives that answer questions on Amazon. The listing for this precise ram kit has many questions about X570 compatibility, and more than one Corsair rep answered yes it is compatible with X570 motherboards. I have not been able to find a single Corsair rep that answered no it is not compatible with X570.

ALSO, look on your own website, go to the "Memory Finder" tool, type in Asus X570-E Gaming as the motherboard, this kit show up on the list of memory kits. Why?

AND if you look at the Amazon product page, right at the top where you choose color, capacity and speed it says "AMD Only" for this exact model number.

Conflicting information everywhere :eyebuldge

The kit of memory is not listed in our memory compatibility finder when searching by your motherboard as you can see in the screenshot I attached. The kit you have according to your specs is not compatible with your motherboard. I'm sorry buy that kit is simply not compatible with mainstream AMD. That white 3200mhz kit is not the same thing as the kit you are referencing.
