txromanflu
I bought and G5 and also 2 256 sticks from Fry's several months back. Anyways everything has been running fine until recently. Funny thing- on the mac the "Corsair" ram now shows up as PC3200 - but looked it up on the site and it says it is PC2700 - which is what the other RAM in the box is. The label has VS256MB333. I swear originally I looked at it and it was reporting all the RAM as PC2700 when I put it in. Issue is on software in some video compression and video renders - I get errors and such. Remove these two sticks of ram and everything works fine - put them back in - get all sorts of problems. Run the test disc for apple and their memory test fails with this ram in there. Passes when the ram isn't in there. It was working fine originally. Roman
