Some Dude
I have a K95 RBG Platinum XT keyboard (Firmware 4.11.25/Software 3.36.125), running Windows 10 Pro 64bit, build 19042. Processor Intel i7-9700KF; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 w/ driver version 27.21.14.5751 (457.51); Driver Model: WDDM 2.7. I've run into a problem where my keyboard keeps auto typing the Z key. I've checked the key in case of physical defect or foreign debris that might cause the issue but it's all clear. Anyone have an idea of what is going on? I just pops up randomly now. I've had the keyboard about 6 months.
Corsair Employee Corsair Albert Posted December 7, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 7, 2020 Hi Some Dude, Does the issue still occur when plugging into another PC? It may be worth trying out a reset: Unplug the keyboard. With the keyboard unplugged, hold down the ESC key. While holding down the ESC key, plug the keyboard back into the computer.Keep holding the ESC key until the keyboard begins to flash.Unplug the keyboard again, then plug it back in.
