I have an HP Pavilion ze5700ea and was wondering if anyone knows if corsair memory would work for it. I was looking on newegg.com and found this a couple of 1GB memory but I want to make sure it fits and is compatible before i spend that much money on it. I do not know much about computers, but i do know my laptop is slow. Can someone help me out? If anyone knows of any better places to but memory please let me know. Thanks for your help ahead of time.

From what I can find about your notebook it looks like it will support DDR266 only. I would not suggest running a faster module than what is suggested as the system may not post other wise. Currantly the largest module we make that would be compatible with your system would be a 512 Meg our part# CMSS512MB-2100.

So there is no way i am going to be able to get 1GB for it? The computer has two slots. Can I get 2 of the 512 MB sticks that you mentioned so it will make it 1GB? (sorry if this is a dumb question...i don't know much about computers) Thank you for your help.
