gtsleeper50
I have an HP Pavilion ze5700ea and was wondering if anyone knows if corsair memory would work for it. I was looking on newegg.com and found this a couple of 1GB memory but I want to make sure it fits and is compatible before i spend that much money on it. I do not know much about computers, but i do know my laptop is slow. Can someone help me out? If anyone knows of any better places to but memory please let me know. Thanks for your help ahead of time. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 25, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 25, 2005 From what I can find about your notebook it looks like it will support DDR266 only. I would not suggest running a faster module than what is suggested as the system may not post other wise. Currantly the largest module we make that would be compatible with your system would be a 512 Meg our part# CMSS512MB-2100.

The computer has two slots. Can I get 2 of the 512 MB sticks that you mentioned so it will make it 1GB? (sorry if this is a dumb question...i don't know much about computers) Thank you for your help. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 26, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 26, 2005 Yes that should work with out problems. In fact since you will have to replace the memory that came with your NB you can use 2 VS512SDS266 modules as well. They might be a bit less expensive.
