PhreakeVE
I've got 2 sticks of the XMS3200. Unfortunately, they do not run together. one is a ver 1.1 and the other is a 2.2. Without completey losing my system for 2 weeks (as I know how slow your RMA dept works) What is my solution? I use both sticks together and while playing any game, my system will reboot within 5-10 mins. pull one out and it is all kosher. System : Intel I865PERL M/B 2 Sticks of XMS 3200 CMX512-3200C2 500 W Antec P/S 2 x 160GB Seagate SATA Drives (RAID 5) Please tell me I don't have to send both in to get them paired.... Thanks for the help...
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 25, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 25, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and lets make sure one is not failing. In addition, with this MB you may not have the option to set the Dim Voltage so the suggested settings would be Cass 2.5-3-3-7 for the timings when running them in dual channel. And I would suggest testing them one at a time at the tested settings. Also you should really be using a Twinx set when running them in dual channel.
