1 bad TWINX1024-3200C2 1GB

Recommended Posts

I purchased a pair of twin 512MB modules about 1 month ago.

I used the pair in an HP computer provided to me by my employer.

I did not adjust any settings.

The modules worked fine until it caused my machine to re-boot continously.

When I changed to full boot, the boot memory test indicated a memory problem.

I tried the modules individually on my personal computer with a Asus P4R800-V Deluxe motherboard. One module worked fine but the machine would not boot with the second.

I believe this module is bad. Is there anything further I should do ?

With Asus P4R800-V and these modules you would need to set the memory freq at DDR333, so please set the memory Frequency at DDR333 and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and test the suspect module with http://www.memtest.org to be sure. And if you do still get errors please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
