donamundo Posted April 22, 2005 Share Posted April 22, 2005 Your memory finder says that I need a Corsair 512MM 184-PIN DDR SDRAM SYSTEM MEMORY which is part number CMSS512MB-266. There is almost exactly the same thing on your web site (part number VS512MB-266) in the value select category that is much less expensive. The only difference in the tech specs is that the value select card has 2.5 cas latency (the CMS card does not list latency). Will the value select card work? However, if you will replace the modules with our Value Select you should be fine. You may not be able to post the system if you mix Value Select and the modules that came with your system.
