ch33zw1z Posted March 29, 2005 Share Posted March 29, 2005 I purchased a 1Gig Kit of Value Select and received it yesterday. I installed it in Dual-Channel mode, and booted up to Memtest86. After about 5 minutes i received my first error, after which i left it run for 3 more hours. I received an error each pass around at the same spot. I shutdown the PC, and ran each stick by itself for approx. 2 hours. one stick ran fine the whole time, the other received about 20 errors total. The errors were confined to the same spot almost everytime, but there were 3 that weren't. I believe i need a new kit. ch33z~ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
